“Mdm Poh’s wish” is a digital comic.

It is created for youths to be more aware about a volunteering organization called
Singapore Cheshire Home for the disabled.

My comic is inspired by the movie Coraline. Similarly, my comic is about how everything seems perfect at first but quickly turns dull when reality hits. The button eyes in my storyline represents illusion, imagination and a perfect world.

Through the comic, it shows Mdm Poh’s point of view where she is alone, feeling empty inside. The story takes place at the time where it is her birthday where her only wish is to be with her loved ones. It is common that we are so caught up with our own lives that we forget who matters to us.
